Thank you

Thank you, thank you, thank you for a wonderful time in Canberra. Especially thanks to Grace for having me stay over and looking after me. Another special thank you to Grace, Michelle and Cheryll for being friends and sharing your time with me. Thanks to all the other girls who came and stamped with us, shared with me, made me feel welcome and for renewed friendships. I came home very relaxed from being creative for 5 whole days.

Good morning ladies,

Here is a little paper piecing number made this morning with young Granny Grace. Grace had a challenge to do for her secret sister here in Canberra, so I played along too! (Not so secret now, eh?)

The challenge was confectionery with the main colour being brown. Seeing as Grace is just a wee confectionery deprived (stamp wise....not stamp session wise)......we went looking and found a very lonely cake stamp.....So, here tis!!! A delicious chokky cake...sort of! We DID use lots of brown though.

What do you think....Using the same basic materials, we can end up with two quite differing pieces at the end. Which one is Grace's?

Stamps: Creative Living (Cake)...Yeah I know..WHO are they?? Stampa Rosa wording Cardstock: Bazzill Other: Kaiser Papers, Kindy Glitz,Liquid Pearls, Cuttlebug and Nestabilities, Brown Grosgrain, DSFT, Chalk Pencils and Odourless Mineral Solvent
