Hi and thanks to Michelle, Grace and Cheryll for inviting me to join this blog.
I have been stamping since 1997 and have had some wonderful and memorable times with these girls at different stamping / papercraft shows all over Australia. I hope we can all do it again some time.
Well am I wierd and wacky? Probably - I know most people don't get my stamping style. I like dark, arty and even a bit gothic sort of stamping. But I can do pretty too!
I'm about to swear - I like to do a little bit of scrapbooking but stamping and paper arts with mixed media is my true love. The two cards above are something I have done this year. I had some cheap semi gloss paper and just swiped, rubbed and combined ink pads including brilliance, versamark and chalk in pink tones. Then I over stamped the rose stamp with the Orchid Brilliance ink pad to create the background.

And I wanna see some Gothic. Am I a closet Gothic trying to get out? Who knows, but sure does sound interesting! Bring it on. This blog is meant for all our work no matter what style. Diversity is great for the soul and wonderful for the imagination! I am slowly getting back into things...looking at artwork is a great way to count down the hours!
