Stamps - Stamp It “Star Swirl” 3663D, Stamp It “Peace Joy Love” 540D

Paper - Bazzill Bahama and Starmist, Acetate, Silver edged organza ribbon and a little bit of silver textured paper
Back to Christmas Cards again. The background piece for this one is created with alcohol inks and Krylon Pen on acetate (this is a technique we learnt at Canberra Clayton's Stamp Camp this year).... the scan really doesn't do the background justice, the alcohol ink is on the back side, so the top side is very glossy ... just begs to be touched! The Star Swirl is a gorgeous stamp ... I can see it getting a lot of use this Christmas.
Ever the self critic, what I would do differently next time .... emboss the "Peace" greeting with silver. I think it needs a touch more silver to balance the whole thing.
Cheers
Cheryll
Hi Cheryll,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful outcome but agree about the greeting being embossed with silver. That would balance it quite nicely.
Hi Cheryll,
ReplyDeleteI haven't used those alcohol inks since camp..must get them out again. This is a beautiful card..love the colour combo.
Cheers, Judy
