Alcohol Inks

Materials:
Stamps:Hero Arts K4880 Cart Art Thinking of You
Cardstock: All Bazzill
Inks: Adirondack Alcohol Inks, StazOn Black
Other: Brads

Well, I have to say that the Adirondack Alcohol inks do not behave the same way for me as do the Pinata! I am having trouble with getting the inks to spread and mingle nicely. The sample I have here is with me dropping the blending solution on top after laying the colour down. It pooled nicely but leached the colour out a bit....Waste not, want not, though. Here it is made up into a quick card. (I also moved it a little when stamping...But hey, I am not doing too badly considering I cannot put any weight on the left shoulder!)

  2. More wonderful colour combinations from you Shell .... I hope you are writing these down! A prolific day for you with great results. I quite like the effect you have created with AI's and blending fluid.
    Cheers

  3. Hi Shell

Gorgeous card. May be some people are pinatas and may be some people are alcohol inks. I could never get a think I liked with pinatas but love alcohol inks and am happy with the results every time. It made all the difference when I got the alcohol ink applicator though. The other home made felt one I had just didn't do the job properly. I think the quality of the gloss matters too!

  4. Thanks for the insight Deb. I am going to order one of their applicators with my next StampIt order, as I, too, am using a home made one, as the gloss quality is high. I will see if that makes a difference!

And thanks for the comments Annette and Cheryll~ You make me feel good!
