Afternoon ladies,

Well what began as a really good idea, turned into somewhat the nightmare! I found the patterned paper and thought...Right! Let's make a card with a musical theme....get brownie points with Grace if I can get two done! (should have known that alruistic thought would land me in strife!)

I have decided to sell this stamp, even though I love it, as it is a little big for my shoulders and hands to cope with. You wouldn't believe how many times I stamped it up before I was totally happy with the outcome! If Tenia sees this, then it is artistic licence! I don't know if there really are any red pianos out there...maybe I could begin a trend????Anyway, the nightmare has been in the fiddle farting around that I have been doing. I tried white on black, colouring the piano black...mega yuck!..... Nope, it has to be red!

Then trying to stamp my piano keys (not in this image.) Do you think the black keys would stamp solidly....oh no...not with the 5 varying blacks I used...or with mouse pad under or brayering the stamp.....tried em all!Decided all of of it was the too hard basket and just raised the piano itself which I coloured with Prisma and then added depth of colour with 2-3 different H2O's.

Tis a bit simple, but I am exhausted with each step giving me grief! And I thought it was going to be easy!

Best go back to the real mission of the day...Making mango iceblocks by the scores! Just waiting on more cream to come home with DH who went into Sarina for parts.
